Dear Walker&Wade Beach Club,

Although welcoming fall meant our favorite season had to come to an end, we were thrilled to embrace the cooler weather with some of our most exciting launches yet. Fall was all about bold, modern prints, new beginnings, and looking ahead to a bright 2025 for Walker&Wade.

This season, we launched our Safari-inspired fall collection, featuring big, high-contrast, modern prints that have become instant favorites. Highlights include our Black & Taupe Mod, Khaki Zig Zag, Indigo Aztec, Black Zebra, and the undeniable star of the show, Terracotta Tribal. We also added stunning jewel-toned ikats that everyone has been loving. Shooting this collection at the breathtaking Avondale Farm Preserve, just five minutes from our Watch Hill Flagship store, brought everything to life. If you missed it, you can explore the full collection here. Many of these styles are ideal transitional pieces that can take you into spring—or even be worn year-round. Pair them with our Bali Belt, a jean jacket, and some booties for the ultimate fall look!

This fall, Laurette found inspiration for our Fall 2025 Collection during a visit to Paris, where the city’s elegance and vibrant fashion scene sparked fresh ideas. The timeless sophistication of Paris, blended with Walker&Wade‘s classic colorful charm is exactly what you can expect to see next fall!

Next, Laurette traveled to Portugal, staying at the stunning Vermelho Hotel in Melides, designed by Christian Louboutin. This luxurious retreat became the perfect setting for a photo shoot featuring our resort collection, with its bold, colorful interiors complementing our designs.

Back in the U.S., we photographed our upcoming Palm Royale Collection—launching January 2025—in a beautiful Palm Beach estate. This collection embodies coastal sophistication, with breezy, versatile pieces set against the lush tropical backdrop of Palm Beach. We can’t wait to share these exciting new styles with you!

This fall also saw Molly traveling to Bali to design our upcoming Fall ‘25 and Spring ‘26 collections. We are beyond excited about what’s to come as she experiments with new textures and fabrications, pushing the boundaries of Walker&Wade’s signature style. Stay tuned—these collections will be worth the wait!

We also welcomed a new face to the team: Ashley Spies, an incredibly talented and experienced sales director who is already helping us reach new heights.

Our team in Bali has also expanded, enabling us to continue creating the unique, handcrafted pieces that make Walker&Wade so special.

Looking ahead to spring, we’re gearing up for some exciting trunk shows, including a major brand launch in Dallas, Texas. This Southwest debut will feature a fashion show, an interactive experience, and a big new collection launch. Dates will be announced soon, so if you’re in the area or know someone who is, keep an eye out! As we expand our wholesale distribution into the contemporary market, we’d love to know your favorite boutiques. This fall, we also launched an exciting partnership with Squeeze De Citron, a collaboration that has been over a year in the making. Lila and her talented team of artisans in Mexico handcrafted a custom beach tote for Walker&Wade, and we couldn’t be more proud of the result. Welcome to the inaugural edition of our monthly newsletter, The Wave! This is where we’ll recap the past season, share behind-the-scenes stories, exciting updates, and give you a sneak peek at upcoming launches. We’re thrilled to connect with you in this new way and keep you in the loop with all things Walker&Wade.

Summer 2024 was full of accomplishments, especially in July! We kicked off with the grand opening of our flagship store in Watch Hill, RI, on July 3rd. The moment we cut the ribbon, surrounded by friends, family, our dedicated team, and loyal customers, was truly unforgettable. It was a moment of pride and joy, one that we’ll cherish forever. As we celebrated our 10-year anniversary earlier this summer, the store opening felt like the culmination of a decade of hard work and dedication. We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our customers and team, who have been with us every step of the way.

In July, we also launched an exciting new collection that has been in the works for over four years: Men’s Party Shirts! This collection features eight stylish shirts that perfectly capture the beach party vibe. Inspired by Laurette’s boys wearing fun shirts after surfing in the Hamptons and Molly’s immersion in the surfer culture of Bondi Beach, Sydney, these shirts are designed with a snug fit in the arms and a relaxed fit in the body. We were honored to partner with Katie Couric and Katie Couric Media to feature our brand-new cobalt floral print in her newsletter. Inspired by Katie’s beautiful hydrangeas at her East Hampton home, this print is part of a special giveaway on Instagram. Katie has been a longstanding inspiration for us, and her influence is part of our 10-year anniversary series, where we share the story of how we first met. You can view that story [here].

July also saw us welcoming Simone Bergel and her unique, ocean-inspired jewelry for a trunk show at our Watch Hill store. Her pieces perfectly complemented Walker&Wade’s beach-to-table vibe, making the event a huge success.

We also introduced four new colors of our famous stretchy, one-size-fits-all belt, perfect for elevating any outfit. These belts are versatile and stylish, so be sure to grab one [here] before they’re gone!

Our new Marine Ikat Print launched in July, featuring Bali-inspired ocean colors and traditional Balinese symbolism. This print is available in our Day Tripper, Mandarin Duster, and Ibiza Dress.
